TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.
I use TED talks to learn and grow; not only in my career, but in my relationships, and for personal growth. It seems that whatever subject I am struggling to implement there is a TED talk available to address it.
Having sifted through TED video content to find ones I believe are beneficial my hope is to share this resource by posting a new talk weekly. I hope you add to the conversation by sharing your insights so that we can learn from one another.
Talks are selected primarily to address those challenges most professionals face; making work fun, purpose, staying positive, etc.
